Mikel Arteta is confident that Ben White will be available for Arsenal’s Premier League match against Brighton on Saturday.

White was forced off at half-time during Arsenal’s 2-0 win away to Sunderland last Saturday as goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Bukayo Saka sealed the victory for Mikel Arteta’s side at the Stadium of Light.

The 28-year-old then missed Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night with Martin Zubimendi filling in at right-back as Jurrien Timber was also absent.

When asked about White’s injury on Friday ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Brighton this weekend, Arteta said: ‘All good. We have another training session.’

And speaking about the availability of Timber, Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie, Arteta said: ‘Everyone is fine.

‘We still have another training session this afternoon, but I’m very optimistic about all of them.

‘They all want to be involved, and we’ll use the final session to make sure they’re ready.’
